    Accessibility statement

    This statement explains how donnasunario.com is built to be usable by as many people as possible, including readers using screen readers, keyboard navigation or magnification.

    What we aim for

    This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That means readable text, sufficient colour contrast, keyboard access to every interactive element, and content that works with screen readers.

    What is in place

    Pages use semantic headings in order, so a screen reader can navigate by structure. Every image that carries meaning has alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technology. Links and buttons describe exactly what happens next rather than saying 'click here'. Text can be resized to 200 per cent without loss of content, and the site reflows on small screens without horizontal scrolling.

    Colour and contrast

    Body text and headings are set in near-black on warm ivory, which holds contrast well above the minimum ratio. Accent colours are used for emphasis only and are never the sole way information is conveyed.

    Known limitations

    Some longer reference pages carry large amounts of structured content, which can be slow to navigate by keyboard alone. External checkout pages, including Amazon and Stripe, are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
